Piwafwi

A piwafwi is a drow cloak that grants increased powers of stealth and hiding. It comes in two varieties, lesser and greater.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The creator of a piwafwi has to be a drow and hads to know the spells endure elements and invisibility.
A lesser piwafwi is identical in ability to a cloak of elvenkind. When the hood is drawn over the head, it increases the wearer's ability to hide. A greater piwafwi is a piwafwi with the added property of fire resistance. It was also known as a piwafwi of fire resistance.

Some drow piwafwi cloaks that find their way to the surface possess enchantments that protect the wearer from piercing and slashing weapons, improving their protection against various poisons, and makes them unaffected by spiderwebs and the web spell. Additionally, the cloak gives non-drow who wore it the ability to summon darkness once per day.
