The Timescape

Long before the recorded history of any race in the Timescape, the Endless existed. All that is known about them is that there where two factions, the Material and the Ascendant. What happened to either is any god's guess.   All that is left now is the corpse of their empires. Black stone towers stick out like broken ribs across many of the worlds in the Timescape, Blackstone Fortresses hang in silent vigil between the Planar Gates. The only way to reliably traverse the Timescape is by utilising the Planar Gates which pulse like veins linking up the Planes of the Timescape.   However, despite the relative peace for so long, The Fairy King's forest on Arborea was destroyed by 'Heaven Bringer', a Endless Capital ship controlled by Mt.Celestia. This marks the beginning of a new age, Endless caches are being opened for the first time since the extinction of the Endless and the entire Timescape is preparing for an all out storm.   What will happen, who will pull the first trigger, will the inhabitants of the Timescape survive? Or will we discover how the Endless went extinct so long ago?
