Personal history

Fred was born in Alice Springs, Australia. When he was ten, his family moved to Boston.

In America, he fell in love with baseball. He gained a reputation as one of the best pitchers in the minor leagues, and in 2001 was signed by the Pittsburg Pirates.

His performance on the Pirates was erratic, and just a year into his major league career an investigation by the Pittsburg Post-Gazette revealed that he had been accepting bribes to sabotage games. His contract was terminated immediately.

Unemployed, he quickly burned through his savings, and turned to crime to keep the lights on. After he accidentally killed a man during an armed robery, he returned to Australia for a year. During this time, he decided to become an assassin.

His criminal career was largely unsuccessful, and authorities believe he only successfully assassinated two people, despite accepting many more contracts.

When Samuel Sterns put together the Alliance, he approached Fred who readily agreed. He was less impressed when Sterns assigned him the identity of Boomerang, but accepted it as he needed the money.

When Sterns' true aims were revealled, Fred, along with the rest of the Alliance, returned to help the cizitens of Los Angeles.

Following the Los Angeles Incident he was arrested. Along with the other members of the team, he was found guilty of terrorism for his role in setting up the attack. Although the sentence was reduced due to the role he played in saving the city, DNA taken during the investigation tied him to the accidental death of the convinience store worker and the two assassinations. He is currently serving a four consecutive sentences, totally 75 years, in the Raft.
