Bruce was captured and interrogated at the Canadian border, causing a switch. Savage Hulk's appearance terrified the Border Patrol officers who opened fire.
During his escape, Hulk threw the Border Patrol truck onto a nearby freeway, causing a massive pile-up.
The incident resulted in the death of one of the Border Patrol officers, and caused serious injuries to twelve people, most of them civilian drivers caught in the crash.
