Adrian Toomes spotted Peter Parker following a group of Bestman Salvage employees, so he surprised him, picking him up and dropping him into a lake.
Peter created a webbing parachute but when he hit the lake, the webbing began to melt, weighing him down. He was saved from drowing by James Rhodes.
