Reno, one of the marajuana farmers, overcome with jealousy that Karnak Mandazur and Jen had slept together, tries to shoot Karnak. Karnak is able to use his powers to protect himself, but isn't able to stop Jen being shot in the leg. The pair then flee the farm.
