Working

When a character expends Stamina to perform a laborious task, which they are proficient with, in exchange for payment, they must first confirm that the activity is approved by Moderation staff by posting a request in #downtime-submissions. If the work is being executed on behalf of an employer or client, a GM may request that a text RP be held to initiate this transaction. Once the work is approved by the GM the character receives gold equal to 1d10 + related skill or tool bonuses. So for example, if a painter was commissioning an art piece for a local noble, they would roll 1d10 + their painter’s kit Bonus and receive a number of gold coins equal to the result.

Working Process

1. Reach out to a GM to coordinate or have a play-by-post RP with an NPC to narratively establish an employer or client. Some types of work such as busking can forgo this step.
2. State that you will be working with a post in #downtime-submissions. In this post, be sure to provide information on the type of work you will be doing and what tool are skill you feel is most relevant to the task.
3. When prompted by a GM or Mod, roll 1d10 + related tool or skill bonus in #downtime-rolls. This roll cannot benefit from any temporary bonuses such as Guidance, bardic inspiration or Enhance Ability.
4. Based upon the outcome of this roll, a GM or Mod will award you with an equivalent amount of gold.
5. Consume one point of Stamina with "!cc Stamina -1"
6. Add any gold received to your coin purse with the "!coins" command.

Downtime
