Welcome to Ispentine!
From our beautiful coasts to our scenic mountains, our land has a rich culture to offer our visitors. First, we will describe our unique geography, with notable cities and other locations. Next is our impressive history, which will give you a background for how our government works. It would behoove you to become familiar with our calendar. Third, we will delve into our wonderful cultures. Every race has its own customs and, often, politics and religion. Magic also plays a large role, both in culture and economy. Last, we have descriptions of many notable people and events. We have also collected many legends for their historical relevance and entertaining nature.
We hope you enjoy our proud country!
No, really. Welcome to Ispentine.
This is not so much about one campaign in particular, but all of my campaigns woven together in a way that causes changes in the world itself. My players proudly direct and subvert history; it would be a shame not to display all of it. I will likely not distinguish between that which was solely created by the DM and what has been shaped by countless adventures, other than to perhaps name the specific actors involved. This is meant to be written as if an enterprising scholar from Ispentine who is fond of travel but believes Ispentine is the peek of civilization were to write an almanac, which means the information is biased and limited! Much of the information is out of date and players should check with their GM before using this info for character/game decisions. It is also meta knowledge that may not be widely known to all characters.
