What happens if someone doesn't prostitute themselves before their 16th birthday?

Interesting question. I'm not sure, at the moment, I'll have to think it over. I don’t think it would be anything serious. At the most a fine or public shaming. I’m open to suggestions.

A fine would make sense if it was either means-tested or the main group of people failing to prostitute themselves aren't rich, whilst a public shaming would make sense regardless of income, yet it might hurt those of powerful families who would probably want to cover it up, and therefore either it would fit if the main group was the rich and powerful, assuming they won't just change the punishment to suit themselves.   I suppose that public ostrication (might have spelt that wrong) might work, and possibly familial ostrication for the rich, though you might consider that more serious and it would probably be the end result of public shaming.

Interesting points. I have been thinking about writing a short story, or two on the subject, to explore what happens. I have a few ideas.
