Aurochs, or auroch, is a form of wild cattle inhabiting Asia, Europe and North Africa. One of the largest herbivores, they are larger in the north than the south, with bulls being larger than females. The frontal bones of the skull is larger than most bovines to support the large horns. More athletic and long legged than other breeds, they also have more defined muscularity.
