Also, the victim has to make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, or take 7 2d6 necrotic damage every 2 1d4 hours. A successful save causes the initial poison damage only.   Possible Spell Component. With the DM's permission, the crocus can be used as a spell component in certain spells.

Autumn Crocus (also known as Meadow Saffron or Naked Ladies), is an autumn blooming flowering plant. It resembles true crocuses. They are highly poisonous due to theirĀ colchicine content, and the effects resemble arsenic with no known antidote. They were used by the Romans at times for the lethality of the poison.
