Bubonic Plague
Bubonic Plague is a horrific disease, that has struck many countries in the past 200 years. It causes swellings in the arm pits & groin, along with weeping sores and flu-like symptoms. It effectively attacks the lymph nodes. Tree variants exist, septicemic plague, and pneumonic plague. It is usually spread by organic tissue, and by pests on small animals. This can mean creatures like rats can spread it with ease, carrying ticks & mites that can jump between species. Unless treated correctly it can cause a painful & disgusting death, and potentially spread further when the body is prepared for burial.
