Castellian

Castellans are members of society that have a non-hereditary rank appointed to them for a single purpose. This purpose is to run and maintain a castle. They are usually nominated by the owner / occupier of the castle, and usually ranges from a high ranking professional military man, to a trusted servant of experience, or some similar person.
