Giant Snails

These large mollusks retreat into their hardy shells when thteatened, and they're particularly susceptible to being injured by contact with salt. A native to the Feywild normally, they are found in some worlds in the Material Plane. This in part is due in part to magic, escapees from the Feywild, and mutations recurring from very ancient times when life was still in it's infancy.
