High Elf Spearmen

High Elves are not adverse to using spears, and can make quite good troops as using these weapons. Foregoing shields, they regularly use chainmail, plate, or some combination of these with helmets, and a long sword as a back up weapon. The High Elves that fight in these units are stoic, and will try to stand their ground as long as possible before either using their swords, or fleeing depending on the nature of the battle, though the latter is uncommon enough it is an extreme insult to call such a spearman a coward for fleeing.
