Krsnik

Krsniks are a type of Slavic shaman, with many found in Croatia at present. They are able to enter a trance, leaving their physical bodies, and use this to track & fight vampires. They believe it is part of an eternal battle between their god Perun and the evil serpent of the underworld, and their magic is taught to them by Vila (the Slavic Fairies).
