Land Rights - 12 square mile region
The land right grants ownership in the name of the Papacy over 12 square miles of land taking in a wooded valley (surrounded by mountainous terrain), a cavern attached (at bottom of valley), woodland beyond entrance to valley), and grass land. Woodland and grassland is west of valley, and latter runs east to bottom. Any monies made of said property incurs a 10% tax to be paid to the Papacy, and any raw materials incurs the same penalty. If a monastery and/or church is built on said land then this penalty is instead reduced to 5% directly paid to the upkeep of such buildings instead.
Purpose
Land Deeds to the region taking in the explored valley that once held a necromancer.
Historical Details
Background
The deeds were wrote to colonise the region and forfeiture of more money if no church and / or monastery built on it. It is to secure more land for the church and to stop any other religious site being built on it.
History
Was originally held by Vitus Nhung that held the deed, but was corrupted by others. It has fell into the hands of an adventurer now who removed Nhung.
Public Reaction
To local tribal groups it a scandal with them being Wood Elves following the old Germanic Ways, and La Tene Celts following theirs. The local Franks will not mind due to the attachment to the Roman Catholic church.
