Naiads are water fey/spirits from the region of Greece (the name Naiad is based on means 'To Flow'). They are tied to water, especially flowing water, such as streams, rivers, and fountains to name a few. They are seen as beneficent, light-hearted and beautiful. Like so many of their kind, they are long-lived bit not immortal, and obviously have connections to the Feywild. Each Naiad is lightly dressed, predominately female, and are excellent swimmers, even in the worse of free flowing waters. A few who try to harm them can easily get into trouble by getting in too deep, and being dragged under water to drown.
Suggested Environments
Free flowing water courses in & around Greece
