Priests

Many an army fights alongside some type of priestly class. Many of these persons belong to militant organisations, some with them being clerics of war gods or death gods, or communities who are warlike in nature. A few are related to peace, or life, related deities. The former are regularly called upon to debuff enemies, buff allies, and cause maximum damage with spells, along with a spot of healing when necessary. The latter is the opposite, primarily helping their own troops through buffing & healing allies, and only rarely debuffing enemies, or killing. Most mayor factions have at least some type of cleric or similar role in their society that fulfil this role.
