Session 14: One Step Closer Report

General Summary

The group makes it back through the portal and went into bed. The next morning they all awake. Magnar meets Arne outside the house, and Alice is hiding underneath her blankets. Magnar approaches her and Alice remanences about how she grew up with unicorns that got killed by a dragon type creature. Magnar consults Arne about what to do about Alice at which point Arne suggest alcohol as a solution, as he heard Reolus talk about it being a good solution.     Along the way to the inn, they see people preparing the lands for the winter time by removing all summer crops.     Once in the Inn, Magnar orders some breakfast and a stronger alcohol to lighten the fear of Alice.     The druids come into the inn looking haggard for pulling an all-nighter because of the harvest season.     After Magnar and Arne have had their breakfast they return to the house to give Alice the rum. Alice instead asks for some water which Magnar gets from the small stream with his flask, giving the flask to Alice to drink from.     Magnar and Alice bond a little over throwing magic stones.     Meanwhile Arne goes to the council to make the intentions clear of the group. The council suggests to have Archi talk to the Druids to talk to Morgana Le Fay, which is related to the things that transpired in the shadow world. Arne however will need to search out the Fitzsimons family up North to receive some travel support when going far North. They have a job that needs to be done now.     After leaving the council chambers, Arne meets Magnar and Alice outside who are walking towards the druids groove to talk to some pixies. Alice is looking for a sword in the feywild that can slay dragons which the court might have some information about. Pixy queen Maisie answers the questions she can for Alice to find the sword. Suggesting Alice to go meet Granny for information as Granny barrowbye might have more information/leads.     Arne not wishing to have contact with Granny Barrowbye again decides to turn back through the portal to Eschbach to contact the Fitzsimons.     Magnar however decides to go with Alice to allow Alice to get information from Granny Barrowbye.     Once there they knock on the door after which Granny calls them in, calling to another party to leave via the backdoor. Magnar recognizing the voice as the same voice of the vampire creature last time.     Magnar introduced Alice to Granny.     Alice wants to know where a sword is, specifically a vorpal sword. Granny warns to not go near such a sword as those swords are dangerous. 3 hags tried to control a vorpal sword, but all 3 died. The vorpal sword is on a place that Magnar has contact with called Earth.   Granny suggests Allice to stay close to her friends. They will prove useful in the future to gain the sword as there's a high chance they will run into one of them that has such sword.     Where the grandmother of my child would visit the wilder areas is a hag which would have possession of a vorpal sword.       Meanwhile Arne contacted Emon Kanis in Aachen for some information about Fitzsimons. As they have good traveling preparations available.     The family Fitzsimons has a small task in an old hunting cabin that they need to take care of. The group gets teleported by Emma Duckthorn to the building and they prepare their sleeping areas to the NE the old dining room.     The house was used for parties by de Rais, de Sade, and the le Marchant family. At one point the parties stopped as the lady in waiting disappeared. They never found her body, but only found blood marks in the library and near the well.     Alice searches the library and finds a pressure switch that opens up the wall. Behind the wall it's much colder compared to the other areas. Behind the wall the ground has been disturbed years ago. Inside they find some human skeleton remains.     At which point Arne finds a mirror that he covers up, in which Arne saw a dead lady in green wearing a crown which seemed to have been killed in the bedroom.     A ring is found which has a box design and something of an LM combined on top of it.     The group takes the skeletal remains to PRISIUSand hands it over to the church to be burried on holy ground.     The group heads to an inn run by Floki the Tramp. Floki can help the group to get back to Eschbach and also send a message to the Fitzsimons.     Besides that Alice also asks some information about his sword which he receives in the form of a name, Baba Yaga and the lands to the NE (Slavic).
