Silk

Silk is a product produced in China, and the odd other Asian country. It is strong, holds colour well, lustre and shine. It is also durable. Because of this many Arab traders imported it from the Silk Road and traded it for high prices in their own homelands and into Europe, where only the wealthy could afford it.
