A creature reduced to 0 hit points from this attack and leaves nothing behind except it's skin and it's equipment.   Ravenous Children (1/Day). The strigoi magically summons [roll1d4+2] stirges, in unoccupied it can see within 30 feet of it. The stirges are under the strigoi's control and act immediately after the strigoi in the initiative order. The stirges disappear after 1 hour, when the strigoi dies, or when the strigoi dismisses then (no action required).

The strigoi are a species of blood drinkers. Their origins are tied to those of vampires. The first strigoi came about due to a swarm of stirges feeding on a freshly fed vampire. This tainted blood caused the stirges to mutate into the strigoi after the vampirism trait took over enhancing the physiology & anatomy of the stirges. After time they bred and passed on the mutation to their young.   Each strigoi hunts alone, or in a small pack in a region. Most are hunted down and killed after a while by locals & vampire hunters. Those that survive are able predators who can drain the blood, marrow and soft tissue of their victims. They pass on a form of the vampirism minus the thirst for blood. Because the victim is left with insufficient internal structures they can become what is known as Boneless.
