A swarm of necrotic magical insects that feed off the corpses of the dead with a preference for fresh carcasses that normally resides within planes of existence where rivers of blood are common, using such as their primary home when corpses aren’t available. In the wilds of other planes swarms of corpse worms congregate in the bodies of massive creatures, and when the corpse is running out of room they begin to seek out new bodies to latch unto in their search for a sustainable food source.   They appear like long eels whose somewhat beak-like face splits into four jaws, each featuring rows upon rows of prehensile teeth. Each segment of their face features three thick waxy eyes with a human-like iris that switches into an "X" shape when exposed to blood, allowing them to see through the blood as if air.   The hide of corpse worms come in many colors, but most common are a pale blue-green with a darkened face or a reddened burnt-black. Several of their kind feature specific additional features such as slashes of white along their back or blood red bellies and pale spots down their sides.   https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Swarm_of_Corpse_Worms_(5e_Creature)
