They will look to congregate as close to the creature as possible. On the other hand, if the creature is cannot turn undead they can do so as a 16th level Paladin.

The Key of the Nile is an Ankh made out of pure onyx, deep black in colour, and with an eye of Horus carved & highlighted in gold on the body of it. Ancient in providence , the pharaohs & the high priest were the only people allowed to own & use it. After the fall of Egypt to the Romans the Key disappeared for years. Once in a while it resurfaces attracting undead to it and causing havoc in doing so.

A legend that surrounds it, is that it was used to keep the dead in their tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and the Pyramids. The gods gave it to Egypt to prevent their dead escaping their fate in the afterlife, and to prevent foreign undead from entering their lands undetected. This was especially true for the ancient vampires & their minions of the Children of the Nazarene. So far they have been attracted to the Key for their own use but always caught by those who just happen to have the Key at hand.
