Painkiller. The bark, when chewed or mashed down in water to form a liquid, has compounds that relieve pain. When used it allows for a +3 bonus to hit points regained through healing of any kind.   Possible Allergen & Overdose. There is always a risk that the person that uses it is allergic to the compound or takes too much. On a 25% roll, the user has to make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 2d6 poison damage.   Addiction. There is a slight chance that the user can become addicted to this substance. After using this on 15 consecutive times, the user has to make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or become addicted having one level of exhaustion per 24 hour period. Each 24 hour period requires a further saving throw until passed, then they start to remove one level of exhaustion after that, and no more saves are needed.

White willow tree bark, at least the inner part, is chewed by many species as a form of mild pain relief. It contains a compound similar to modern aspirin.
