Vulfield

A mysterious town that seems to shelter all within its boundaries.

History

It is said that around four hundred years ago, a group of women fled to the middle of a deserted field, fleeing from the false prosecution of witch hunts. Though they were not witches themselves, they came across a coven who protected the lands here, begging for their aid.
The witches allowed these women to stay in their homes, casting a protective ward around the area to keep them from harm. Over time, the witches' homes became a village, and then a town, and long after their deaths their power only grew through the collective love and care of its residents. Over time, the magic wards became a beacon, drawing the lost and afraid to its safety -- especially those with supernatural leanings.
