Personal history

Awena was born into the fierce and proud Marshhawk tribe, a barbarian clan known for their deep connection to the rugged wilderness and their unwavering warrior spirit. She showed a keen aptitude for foraging and gathering, skills that were vital for her tribe's survival in the harsh, untamed lands they called home. Her keen eyes could spot the rarest of herbs and her nimble fingers could harvest the most delicate of mushrooms.   Life in the Marshhawk tribe was challenging but fulfilling. Awena grew up learning the ancient ways of her people, participating in their rituals, and embracing their customs. She was deeply respected for her knowledge of the land and her ability to find sustenance where others saw only barren wilderness. However, the constant cycle of raids and conflicts with neighboring tribes, as well as the encroaching threat of more organized, settled peoples, began to wear on her. Awena longed for a life where she could use her skills to build and create rather than just survive.   When news reached her tribe of a new community being founded by Alais, a cleric known for his compassion and vision, Awena saw an opportunity for a fresh start. Intrigued by the possibility of living in a place where people worked together for mutual benefit and where her skills could contribute to building a new society, she decided to leave the Marshhawk tribe and seek out this new settlement.   Awena arrived with a heart full of hope and a spirit ready for new challenges. She quickly made herself invaluable to the fledgling community, sharing her extensive knowledge of plants and foraging with the settlers. Her ability to find and harvest food, as well as her talent for identifying medicinal herbs, helped the new settlement thrive in its early days.
