Personal history
Fleet Admiral Crastin's tale begins with a rather comical twist of fate. Born to a family of humble sailors in the coastal city of Driftwood Bay, Crastin always dreamed of commanding his own ship and sailing the vast seas. However, fate had other plans for him.
As a young tengu, Crastin was notorious for his clumsiness and tendency to get into trouble. His first attempt at sailing ended in disaster when he accidentally capsized his father's fishing boat while attempting an ill-advised maneuver to impress a group of fellow fledglings. Despite his numerous mishaps, Crastin's spirit remained undeterred, and he was determined to prove himself on the high seas.
One fateful day, while attempting to "borrow" a small dinghy to embark on his latest sailing adventure, Crastin stumbled upon a group of notorious pirates preparing to set sail from Driftwood Bay. Mistaking him for a seasoned sailor, the pirates decided to recruit him as their cabin boy, much to Crastin's shock and dismay.
Thrown into a world of swashbuckling adventure and perilous escapades, Crastin found himself swept up in the life of a pirate. Despite his initial reluctance, he soon discovered a hidden talent for navigation and strategy, earning the respect of his fellow pirates with his quick thinking and resourcefulness.
Through a series of hilarious misadventures and daring exploits, Crastin rose through the ranks of the pirate crew, eventually becoming their de facto leader after a particularly botched mutiny attempt left him as the last bird standing. Renaming their ship "The Clumsy Gull" in honor of their bumbling captain, the crew embarked on a legendary journey across the seas, plundering treasure and evading capture with equal parts luck and sheer incompetence.
It was during one of their infamous escapades that Crastin and his crew encountered a fleet of notorious pirate hunters, led by the renowned Admiral Drakewood. In a twist of fate worthy of a bard's ballad, Crastin's clumsy antics inadvertently led to the capture of the entire pirate fleet, earning him the title of "Fleet Admiral" and catapulting him to fame as one of the most celebrated pirate hunters in the 12 lands.
Despite his newfound prestige, Crastin never forgot his humble beginnings or the lessons learned from his days as a hapless cabin boy. With his trusty crew by his side and a penchant for turning disaster into triumph, Fleet Admiral Crastin continues to sail the seas, forever chasing the horizon and seeking new adventures on the high seas.
