Mountain Troll

Deep within the heart of the untamed wilderness, where the sun's rays struggle to penetrate the thick canopy, dwell the fearsome trolls. Towering over lesser creatures, their grotesque forms instill dread in the hearts of all who behold them. With thick, mottled skin, razor-sharp claws, and a bestial hunger that knows no bounds, trolls embody the untamed chaos of nature. Legends speak of their regenerative powers, allowing them to recover from wounds that would be fatal to most creatures. Yet, for all their brute strength, trolls remain creatures of primal instinct, driven by their insatiable appetite and a relentless pursuit of prey. Cross paths with a troll, and you will witness the true ferocity and primal fury of the untamed wilderness.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Trolls, hulking and fearsome creatures, are typically found in rugged and desolate landscapes. They make their homes in deep caves, dense forests, and treacherous mountain ranges. Trolls are adaptable and can survive in a variety of harsh environments, from icy tundras to sweltering jungles. They are often drawn to areas where food is plentiful, such as near rivers teeming with fish or in territories rich in game. Trolls prefer to stay away from heavily populated areas, as their monstrous appearance and predatory nature make them feared and shunned by most civilized beings.

Behaviour

Trolls are savage and aggressive creatures, driven by their insatiable hunger and primal instincts. They are formidable predators, known for their regenerative abilities and voracious appetites. Trolls possess a remarkable resilience, able to regenerate even from the most grievous wounds, making them tenacious and challenging foes. Despite their brutish nature, trolls exhibit a crude form of intelligence, capable of basic problem-solving and coordination when hunting or defending their territory. They are solitary creatures by nature, except during mating seasons when they gather in small groups.
