Acheron Vortex

The Acheron Vortex is a wound in space and anchor to the Vuil’raith invasion. There, the shattered remains of planet Acheron swirl around a massive dimensional tear. Sensor readings gathered by a lone Mentak sloop, the Watch This, are broadly consistent with those of a gravity rift. What was not consistent is the sickly, strange fog seeping forth from the eye of the storm.

Although the twisting debris of Acheron stand testament to intense gravity, a constant stream of flesh-ships spills forth from the vortex. The Vuil’raith appear unimpeded by what should be deadly tidal forces.
