Xandor

The dwarves of the Twilight Kingdoms are a proud and hardy lineage. They were once a thriving yet isolated society concentrated to their mountainous strongholds and fortresses spread throughout the realms, mainly the Kingdom of Aeonia. Since many of their mighty settlements have been abandoned and forgotten over the ages, most dwarves have since long settled in the towns and cities among the other humanoids. The dwarves have a long history and a rich cultural heritage, which calls for officially appointed archivists to record, maintain, and protect their deep lore; their knowledge, thaumaturgic secrets, alchemy research, and engineering. Xandor comes from a long line of such archivists, a faction of scholars called Lorekeepers. They are sworn protectors of dwarven wisdom and disciplines, and work tirelessly to be the conservators of their past, present, and future.
Xandor came into possession of the Crystal of Fate when one day, a mysterious half-elf rogue showed up at his doorstep. The rogue had sought out Xandor not because he desired to rid himself of the Crystal, but because he knew that the time had come when he could no longer be the one to wield it. His journey had brought him to Xandor, who was known for his unmatched knowledge of ancient artifacts and their connection to dwarven lore. In a solemn ceremony within the depths of Xandor’s archives, surrounded by ancient texts and the flickering light of enchanted runes, the Crystal of Fate was passed to Xandor. As his hands touched the Crystal, the room seemed to hum with a deep, mystical energy. It was as if the Crystal itself acknowledged the transfer, its orange light pulsing once, sealing the destiny of both half-elf and dwarf. Xandor’s quest had only just begun.
