Honeyport

The small town of Honeyport lies just south of the capital.

Government

Honeyport is ruled as an autocracy that is ruled by a chosen noble, selected by the Black Dragon at the Chromatic Kings council. Although this mayor rules Honeyport within the laws and restrictions set by the kings council.

Defences

Honeyport has very little in terms of defensive structuring. However, the close proximity to the capital of Freywharf makes dragonguard excursions to Honeyport fast and numerous.

Guilds and Factions

There are still some remnenants of Honeyport's former prosperity, such as a few struggling trade guilds. The rest of the populace are either craftsmen, farmers or criminals.

History

The trade from passing ships used to be Honeyports greatest income and source of nourishment. The trade, however, had a severe drop around the year 3690 AM due to new trade routes ordered by the capital. These trade routes now left Honeyport out. This put many merchants out of business, who then was forced to move to the capital. The town has yet to recover from this loss of population. Some blame the new king, whilst others blame the traveling merchants. Recently, however, a lot of the populace as turned to blame witchcraft and practitioners of dark magics. Whether all who have been judged for doing so are guilty or not is debatable.
