Mor-Kuul

The Black Mist

Mor-kuul is not so much a being as he is a force. An ancient deity that exists as the personification of death. Rumours tell of him as the brother of Pharasma, enslaved to her will and forever tasked with ending mortal souls and sending them her way. Other rumours suggest him as the brother of Kronos, the finality to the time gods perpetual flow.

Appearance

The Black Mist has no form. As the personification of death, he exists as a force rather than a being. There are those who claim to have witnessed the manifestations of Mor-Kuul through the use of a legendary deck of cards. But these have never been confirmed.

History

Not even the other gods know what Mor-kuul truly is, or if he even exist at all. There are however, stories of cults dedicated to him that seem to the powers of death itself through their worship. In the ancient lands of the Saharon Dunes, lands that now lie hidden beyond a perpetual sandstorm, a man rose to power through a dark deal with the Lord of Death. This ended in the death of all the people of Saharon, as Mor-kuul cares little for the fates of mortals. Only their deaths interest him, as death is all that he is.
