Session 22: Shielwald's Secrets

General Summary

With all their newfound wealth, the party decided to hire some new muscle to protect the Mourningstar when they had to leave it behind. Followint Nacklenooks recomendation they headed to the Ironclad Inn. There they managed to meet a burly man named Gregor Kraus, who also happened to be the Great Uncle of Fritz. With him under their employ the party headed north, into the great Shielwald Forest.
After having dealt with mist-spreading eggs and then some egg-hunting Harengons they decided to seek out the Glittering Grove, the famous fey-market. With the help of some helpful trees that Heiwa managed to befriend, they got through the hidden path to the market. Inside they found that nothing was bought with coins in this market, which complicated things for the unprepared party. One had to be careful with these traders as to not make an ass out of oneself. Something that Nacklenook had to learn the hard way after he was cursed with a donkey-tail by a hag that felt that her time had been wasted.
When they had cured the gnome from his curse, they managed to secure a magic compass and some gauntlets of giants strength with the help of a hungry cloud giant.
