Session 5: Hurtful Secrets

General Summary

Quinumo was hit with an arrow in the shoulder, and as the party looks for the source of the arrow they saw an elven man clad in a similar outfit as Aurora. Aurora recognized him as Losandros Silverwind, a commander of the organisation that she had been trying to join called the Silvestria Numina. A fanatical group of elves that wish to control the feywild. They also manage to see his eight accomplices. Whilst trying to defuse the situation Kleech happened to mention their mission and to avoid being shot, Ravojhan told them about the broken eye. This peaked Losandros interest. In the end they did not reveal that they had the amulet, but the elves still wished to kill Quinumo, who is a traitor to their race according to them. It all breaks into a fight when Losandros insults Trinky by calling her nothing more than a pet for Quinumo. She manages to stab him, but he somewhat parries the blow. Quinnie, edged on by the rage of him affronting Trinky, runs up and does a bate and switch maneuver with Trinky. He then activates his magical sword making him blurry, before striking the elf. Kleech then runs to a tree and hides whilst also casting a spell to hide the party. Preparing them for an escape. Ravojhan moved away and casted a hexing lightning strike from his hands that connected with Losandros, making him seize with pain. Aurora, however, calls upon her experience and memories. Remembering the feelings she got in the Feywild and channelled them into an enchantment and tried to cast it on Losandros. Against all odds and natural resistance to that kind of magic, she managed to charm the elf. She thus managed to convince him to take his followers and retreat. The party discussed what just occurred and what was uncovered. The group jumped on the cowering caravan and they all left. The caravan reached the village of Folkenfort that night. Salakor and the rest went to the inn known as the Stool and Spirit. The party walked on the town square where they saw a procession of carts bringing new prisoners to Folkenfort. On the last cart, Quinumo saw his family. The distraught elf did what he could to stop the cart but there was nothing he could do. The party went back to the inn as well to try and find out how they can save Quinumos parents. On the way Ravojhan drank all the water in the bucket in the well, which just happened to be spiked with alcohol. When they reached the tavern, which was owned by the former Grand Captain of the Folksguard Scruffy Crews, Trinky used her hat-form, which she named Sally, to try and find stuff out about the prison, but was only pointed to some guards drinking in a corner. But before this, they were interrupted several times by Kleech and Ravojhan respectively. After which Quinumo went up and threatened the gnomes. Sally then got Aurora with her to try and get information from the guards. After a lot of awkward "flirting" all they got was a tip to go and ask for a commander the next day, as well as some information on how the prison worked. When they turned back they noticed that Quinumo had drunk himself to sleep by the bar. Ravojhan had walked to the bar as well and had drunk himself and Bert to sleep. Kleech had engaged in a drinking contest with Joltan, and won, but was left asleep in a pile of his own vomit. Trinky and Aurora took charge, got them a room and "Sally" charmed the gnomes to help them carry their party members to their room in exchange for a kiss each. The kiss turned out to be an awkward headbutt. In the morning they woke up with Aurora finding an arrow with a message tied to it in her bed.
