Night Mother
The Night Mother is the secondary deity in Barovia. The presence of Mother Night is felt most strongly between dusk and dawn, although nighttime prayers to her go unanswered.
Her followers believe in the balance of light and darkness, where she adopts and protects all dark magic users and lovers of the night and occult. The majorly of the followers consist of cultists, the Vistani, and creatures that delve in darkness.
It is widely believed that she has forsaken the Barovian people and sent the devil Strahd von Zarovich to punish them for their ancestors’ offenses.
She is the counterpart to The Morninglord.

Symbol: A black circle with dark purple rim.
Cultists and practitioners of dark magic embellish their clothing and weapons with the symbol of the Night Mother. Vistani are rarely seen with the symbol, but they have amulets hidden with their treasures.
The churches depict her existence in stain glass windows along with the Morninglord.
