The Lastgasp, God of Death and What Remains
(a.k.a. Death, The Endless Night, Redtooth)
The Lastgasp was created as the reverse to The Firstbreath, God of Life and Renewal. Representing death, The Lastgasp is usually seen as a tool of evil, but that could not be further from the case. The God of Death and What Remains not only governs over the loss of life, but also the decomposition of the organic husk that is left behind, the journey of the soul that leaves, and the return to The Protean Array of all that energy.
Without The Lastgasp, there would be nothing left to renew.
The Lastgasp, like The Firstbreath, does not have a traditional mantel, but instead can be identified by having deep purple eyes and teeth made of ruby. The process in which the mantel of The Lastgasp is transferred remains a mystery.
