Nlaz

Pepper. Nlaz is a feminine singular noun, the plural form is Nlazin if there is a definite number of peppers, or Nlazatsu if the quantity is indefinite.

This word can refer to any of the various types of Nlaz Vyaynzu that the Niechelai cultivate. The Nlazatsu can be sweet, hot, flavorful, cold, crunchy, earthy, bitter, sharp, acidic, and anywhere in between. Each household uses Nlazatsu of some type in their daily meals, and most houses have entire pepper gardens surrounding their herbs and vines to keep away pests.
