The Imperial Inquisitors

The Inquisitors are a society of clerical law enforcers employed by the Church of the One True God, but granted authority by the Pearl Empire. They are robed, masked and terrifying - travelling the Empire with bands of well-armed legionnaires pursuing reports or rumours of heresy and illegal magic. Inquisitors are dangerous and often do not discern between innocence and guilt when tasked to dispense the Emperor's justice.
