Raythar

Raythar is a halfling barbarian with a rough and tumble background. He grew up in the streets of Crimsonhaven, learning to fend for himself from a young age. He has a natural talent for fighting and is often quick to anger, but he has a strong desire to protect those who can't protect themselves. Despite his tough exterior, Raythar has a soft spot for animals, particularly his pet rat, which he carries with him wherever he goes. He has a tendency to speak his mind, often leading him into trouble, but his skill with a weapon usually gets him out of trouble just as easily. Within the bounds of his moral compass, Raythar is motivated mostly by a mercenary drive for coin.

Raythar joined The Wildfire Crew as a hireling guide for one job, but as he got to know the rest of the team he recognized that his ability to act as an independent sell-sword was greatly eclipsed by the opportunities that joining the crew fulltime would offer.

Raythar was corrupted, and fell in combat during the heist of the Val Garuhm Adventuring Guild.
