Brotherhood of Independent Scientists

The Brotherhood of Nibian Scientists is a local collective of researchers, scientists, and intellectuals. They are dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and the advancement of technology. Their facility offered training courses to Rimmers and allowed many of them who couldn't otherwise to join the STEM community. Their advanced communication equipment is designed to study extraplanetary objects in the surrounding system as well as local phenomona. The leader of the Brotherhood is Dr. Elara Kress. Dr. Kress is a brilliant but reserved scientist who has a strong sense of duty to preserve knowledge.
