Fleshed Lung
A side effect of misuse in inhaling Utopia is Fleshed Lung, named so due to the bulbous fleshy lungs that result from the sickness.
Causes
While Utopia will typically inspire growth and rejuvenation in the lungs when smoked, incorrect heat and dosages end up causing strange growths to coat the inside and outside of lungs. When these growths begin blocking and sealing the airways, the person begins to lose oxygen and slowly suffocate.
Symptoms
The first indications are often the slight purplish color of their skin and occasional coughing. Once that has manifested, the mutation has progressed to the point that it needs treatment. If it continues untreated, the mutation seals the persons lungs and they die. It is rarely seen outside of Utopia Drive malfunctions, overdoses of U-Pens, or broken/incorrectly manufactured U-Pens.
Treatment
If it is caught early, treatment is minor with basic medicines tinged with Utopia. If the person is advanced, a combination of medicines, surgery, and potential lung transplants are required.
Prognosis
Lack of treatment leads to death by suffocation
