It has been hundreds of years since strange pillars and monuments rose out the ground, cracking and splitting the planet at it's seams. What once was part of the original realm has now become something new, another dimension once again formed by a collision of worlds.
The ebb and flow of magic has changed. In some places magic has increased, and in other places there is no longer any signs of the magic that made the world what it is now. What has caused these pillars to rise from the ground? No one knows, but what they do know is that this world is something no one has ever seen before; something that to some may be frightening.
The pillars push and pull affects life and death itself. In some places where there once was life, death has claimed the land, and in others where there once was death, new life has risen from the ashes of the world before it.
