Corporealage

A corporealage (kor-POR-yuh-lidge or kor-POR-e-ah-lodge depending on region) is a practitioner of the Healing Arts. Corporealages are organized into a male-only monastic order headquartered in the city of Malo in Wildemarkh. Originally formed within the walled city of Old Malo as a religious aid organization for wounded soldiers, war veterans, and displaced refugees, the Order Corpor is now the world's leading authority on physical trauma and treatment. Corporealages, informally known as corpos, can be found in every major kingdom and region within the world, treating bodily injuries and maladies from the smallest hamlets to the most opulent palaces.
Limitations
Corporealages focus chiefly on physical traumas and do not take much stock in treating internal ailments or illnesses. As a result, loose networks of mostly female practitioners have sprung up to fill in the gaps in the Order Corpor's knowledge and abilities, in many cases with a much greater survival rate, especially regarding infections, child and elderly treatments, and childbirth.
