Lord Fenton Caius
Lord Fenton Caius (a.k.a. Mountain-reader)
Lord Fenton Caius, the lone nobleman who led his people into the mountains to escape an incoming horde, was instrumental in the Valley's early growth and survival.
Social
Contacts & Relations
As the leader of the refugees that crossed the mountain, Fenton took care to approach and learn about each of his followers. As the survivors spread across the Valley, Fenton would take circuits of the settlements and homesteads to check on and assist as necessary.
Family Ties
Too busy to settle down in his early years, it wasn't until his early fifties that Fenton found love in Wren Stout, a fellow Mountain Scout and long time friend. They lived their last years together
Wealth & Financial state
While he spearheaded the economic growth of the Valley in the years following his arrival, Fenton never used his influence to increase his personal wealth. Any excess he aquired would find it's way into the hands of beggars, widows, and the more unfortunate souls that hung on the outskirts of society. He lived to the end of his days in the house he constructed on the edge of the river.
