Description of characters, events, and locations leading up to and during the First Rebellion.
Worried that the Red Tower was beginning to gain too much influence, even enough to challenge the Keis, Booth recruited a few bards and artists who chafed under the strict thumb of the Red Tower. The Eastern Guild styled itself as a down-to-earth community focused on telling tales of local communities instead of maintaining stories of the land across the mountains.
An earthquake rips through the valley, causing destruction in every major city. A major rock collapse also buries the are where the lake drains from the valley. This wouldn't be a major issue for those who live further north, but for Anglen and Vedan this spells almost certain doom.
What should have been a simple theft of important documents traveling south from the Keis turned into a potential disaster for Booth as a local criminal began digging into the event. This event would cause Booth to spring his rebellions a year before his scheduled date.
Those who had not been pulled into Booth's plans were dealt with. Some vanished in the mountains while scouting with Mountain Scouts loyal to Booth, others were killed while dining in the hall, and still others joined the rebellion under threat to themselves or their family. This marks the official beginning of the First Rebellion.
The Months-long siege of the Eastern Pass comes to an end as an intrepid group of Mountain Scouts complete their circuitous journey to the undefended mountains-side of the pass. It would still take months to capture the last of the fugitives.
