Ori Hilts

Ori hilts aka molder hilts are hilts with no blades that are specifically made for Oridan molders and serve as their primary offensive tool in combat. Molders can use the hilts as a focus for their Ori allowing them to mold light into a blade. A skilled molder is able to use the same hilts for blades of different sizes and styles such as daggers, rapiers, scimitars, etc.

Usage

The make of the hilts allows for an Oridan to utilize their abilities more efficiently. What type of blade and when they are used is usually determined by the military unit that a molder is attached to. A molder will channel their Ori into the hilts and manipulate light to form a hardened blade that is just as dangerous as the real deal. This allows molders to not be weighed down during combat with heavy weaponry.

Creation

Like most Oridan tools the hilts are made using lightweight materials with low density in order to reduce the necessary amount of Ori needed to use them. The hilts also one contiguous material, meaning there is no melding of different material together, thereby allowing imbuing of the full hilt all at once.
