The otters are known as the messengers of the deep. They travel back and forth between Caraballa and the Killing Reefs, serving as a means of communication for all creatures of the Veil. These otters hold a special place in the hearts of Veil dwellers and are considered holy. To distinguish themselves as royal message carriers, they wear yellow sashes.
They have several posts all over the Veil and will be able to find you no matter where you are. They have a duty to serve their purpose and are seemingly unaffected by Umbrall Water.
Basic Information
Deep Sea Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limbs. Their most striking anatomical features are the powerful webbed feet used to swim, and their seal-like abilities for holding breath underwater. Most have sharp claws on their feet and all except the sea otter have long, muscular tails.
