Background: House Forewind had always been known as a house of great leaders and heroes. Born a noble in Sorrow’s End, the capital city of Portcross, Ephraim had always longed for a life of adventure and excitement that his ancestors lived. As such, he did not pay much interest to trifling matters such as schooling and history. Instead, he lived life to its fullest every day; a life of excitement, flowing drinks, and women (whom he most definitely did not need to pay for sex). His love was always in the art of fencing. He believed that his potential was limited in the capital. He should be out there, adventuring, and yet he was stuck in the lap of luxury Yet, his achievements would always go amiss in the eyes of his family.
Being the 2nd in line to the House of Forewind does not carry the same prestige as being the 1st. This was all due to his selfish brother, Andreus Forewind, overshadowing him at every turn. He would always have the affection of their parents. Not a day would go by without them favoring his brother over him.
Finally, Ephraim would become sick of the injustice and gain the courage to set off on his own, to a little town called Heartwick. It is here that he would become the master of his very own guild and do very well for himself, adventuring and gaining glory for the Forewind name.
