Gorus (Gor-us)
The country's landscape is gorgeous; white sandy beaches, dramatic mountain views, and never ending fields of green are just a sliver of the appeal Gorus has to offer, which is why the country is loved among foreigners. People all over travel to Gorus claiming the island is the pinnacle of luxury in the Veil.
The Coastal city of Dewberry is well-regarded by all though some say Dewberry has two sides if you look close enough. Others prefer to visit the Town of Hummingberg where the Harper’s Inn is located, so they can use the Hot Springs. On the North side of the island, there is an exclusive village for Elves in the Dawn Wood which is rarely visited by outsiders.
To the northwest of the island are Manatee Island and Sea Lettuce Cove.

The crown jewel of all the cities of the Veil. Dewberry is an idyllic city by city with sandstone buildings with red tile roofs. The Castille De Dewberry is located in the center of the city and the rest of the city is built in a wheel and spoke pattern. Many come from all over to vacation here or take part in the Royal Court of Dewberry. They are also known for their pleasure houses and spas.
Despite Dewberry's beautiful facade, there is a world here of secrets, rogues, and drugs that sit just below the surface. There are whispers of Chronus being the real power in Dewberry.
This town is not at all like Dewberry. They have thatched rooftops and the buildings are made from ironwood. There is only one large building in Hummingberg and it's the Harper Inn, it was built first by Dorian Harper and his wife when they discovered the Hot springs. The rest of the town grew to surround the inn. Dewberry is also located in the dead center of the island.
A City located deep in the Highwoods, this city is exclusively for elves. They have a few outsiders who live here, granted permission to live out their lives among the long-lived. Dawn Wood is said to have magic in the air itself and will not let you enter if you are not considered a friend. Little else is known about this place.
Lettuce Cove is home to a population of Grung, They consider Manatee Island to be a sacred place to worship their most holy Deity Merafina The Holy Manatee who led them to this sanctuary.
